Answers to the most common questions about horary astrology

Horary astrology is a branch of traditional astrology in which a chart is cast for the exact moment a question is asked. Its specificity is that it produces answers — known as judgments — that are concrete and highly precise.

​Natal astrology — also called genethlialogy — deals with the broader lines of a life: temperament, major themes and long-term developments.
Horary astrology, by contrast, focuses on everyday situations and practical decisions.

Natal astrology can tell you which profession suits you best; horary astrology can tell you whether your next boss will be pleasant, or whether your salary will improve.

In short, natal astrology is the telescope; horary astrology is the microscope.

In general, one should avoid questions that begin with “Why” or “How.”
Beyond that, the range of possible questions is virtually unlimited, provided the question is important, clear, and sincere.

It can be something entirely mundane — “When will the power come back?” — or something major — “Should I buy this house?”
Horary astrology is particularly effective for choosing between two options or assessing whether a project is viable.
