There are times when worries, hesitations, and possibilities all tangle together, and you no longer know where to start. Untangling a situation down to a single question is the most decisive kind of clarity there is. Sometimes just asking the right question is enough, and the answer becomes clear on its own.

Horary astrology is an art of judgment that answers precise questions from the moment they become important.

It was an important contract that a craftsman's budget depended on, and he wanted to know whether there was a chance his quote would be accepted.
The chart showed that his quote would be accepted, but it would likely be negotiated down.
And that's exactly what happened.
This wasn't his original question, but it was the one that — after a little untangling — turned out to lie at the heart of his concerns.

"Will our relationship last?"
They were going through serious difficulties as a couple, and he wanted to know if there was anything he could do to save the relationship.
The analysis of his horary chart showed a mutual love, but one weighed down by a significant imbalance that would lead to their separation.
And that's what happened.
They ended up separating a few months later, despite his efforts to improve things.
"Should I buy this car?"
He wanted to buy a used car.
The analysis of the question showed that the seller was withholding information from him, and that the car would become a source of trouble very quickly.
So he didn't buy that particular car.

DIFFICULT CHOICES
"Should I have the tooth pulled?"
He had a chronic abscess under a crown, and although his dentist recommended extracting the molar, he wanted to know if that was really his only option.
The analysis of the question showed that the tooth, despite the infection, was firmly in its rightful place, and that he should seek a second opinion.
Another dentist was able to treat the infection and save the tooth.

Lost objects.

Timing.
Investments...
Human situations are countless, and so are the questions they give rise to.
Horary astrology can be applied to an endless range of questions — from "Where are my hens laying their eggs?" to "Who will be the next president?" — by way of lost objects, health, money, love, moves, or the timing of an event.
The only requirement is that the question be real, not mere curiosity. It must be sincere, born of a genuine concern, however trivial it may seem.

WHAT EXACTLY IS IT?
Horary astrology rests on the principle that time is not neutral: every moment carries its own particular, symbolic value.
The moment a question arises in someone's mind is distinct from the moment they go looking for an answer, and distinct again from the moment they decide to consult an astrologer.
This convergence between the real situation, the free decision, and the act of asking creates a singular symbolic instant, capable of describing and analysing the situation and how it will unfold.
The horary chart of a question can then reveal different facets of a situation: the real stakes, hidden motivations, possibilities, obstacles, sources of support, and timing.
